Sepheo and Steadyrack
We want to make it easier for people to enjoy the things they love. So, it’s always great to see people out and about on their bikes. We especially love seeing children experiencing the joy of cycling. For some children, being able to enjoy a bike ride is more than just a fun activity – it’s life changing. Josh and Belinda Groves, founders of the charity Sepheo, know this all too well. Sepheo works with children living on the streets of Maseru, Lesotho. Their aim is to see every child in Maseru off the streets, a task they don’t take lightly.
The children of Lesotho can find themselves struggling and on the streets for many different reasons. Thanks to charities like Sepheo, the number of children on the streets of Maseru has . The Sepheo team work hard to get each child back into school to teach them valuable lessons and life skills.
In addition to providing schooling, emotional support, guidance, and medical assistance – Sepheo is also about healing and having fun. The charity has recently completed a pump track at their school, providing the young people they support with a fun and safe place to enjoy cycling. What does every bike park need? Bike storage! We’re so happy to have been able to offer the young people at Sepheo enough Steadyracks to house their collection of bikes.
We’re big believers in the benefits of cycling for both physical and mental wellbeing, so we’re stoked to be a part of this initiative. You can check out the important work Josh, Belinda, and the team at Sepheo do here.
